Slemish College leadership retreat.
We are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our clients, team members and communities and to inspire others to do the same. Every year, we fund a leadership retreat for Slemish College’s Student Leadership Team. Following their election, these senior students spend time at Corrymeela, where they take part in activities designed to develop their confidence, strengthen their leadership skills and prepare them to make a positive contribution to school life.

Over two days of workshops, discussions and team building activities, students explored their leadership roles in greater depth and began planning for the year ahead. From developing ideas and setting priorities to building strong relationships as a team, it was an opportunity to lay the foundation for an exciting year of student leadership at Slemish College. Some of the pupils who took part in this year’s retreat shared their experiences with us.
